20" x 36"
These realistic aerial epoxy paintings are made by pouring and manipulating multiple layers of dyed epoxy on top of a furniture grade 13 ply Baltic Birch plywood, often confusing the viewer in real life to mistake the painting for an actual photograph.
Every piece is completely sealed to ensure longevity, equal surface tension (the wood will curl like a potato chip if only one side of wood has epoxy on it), and to prevent moisture from entering and fogging the surface. Some pieces will also use sand and/or different sizes of black rocks to create a certain look. The titles of these paintings are inspired by the music I listen to while creating them.
